I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgave the iniquity of my sin. Psalm 32:5
Only through sincere repentance and forsaking of sin will God forgive us our sins. John 1:9
Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is none else. Isaiah 45:22
Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil. Jer 13:23
Only God can change our hearts. There is nothing we can do to change our sinful nature.
And she shall bring forth a son, and you shall call his name JESUS; for He shall save His people from their sins. Matthew 1:21
But as many as received Him, to them gave he power to become the SONS OF GOD, even to them that BELIEVE on HIS NAME. John 1:12
Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. John 3:5
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the time of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19
For ALL HAVE SINNED, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
But God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Rom 5:8
For He has made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. II Corinthians 5:21 (Only the sinless Son of God can pay the price for our redemption, and make us holy by the indwelling power of His Spirit)
For by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Galatians 2:16 (Our good deeds cannot earn for us eternal life)
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. I John 1:9
WOULDN'T YOU LIKE TO ASK JESUS TO FORGIVE YOUR SINS AND TO TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE TODAY?
